Charity.
"There are some who, perhaps from circumstances of unavoidable calamity and misfortune, are reduced to the lowest ebb of poverty and distress..."
From the Masonic charity charge
Giving to charity and good causes is important to us as Freemasons. As a Lodge we support local causes directly. As an organisation we are able to distribute large amounts of aid both within the UK and internationally. Freemasonry is second only to the National Lottery in the amounts it gives to charity.

Supporting victims of domestic abuse.

On the 27th of June 2025 we were pleased to present a cheque for £1500 to Dido Farrell, a trustee of the Aylesbury Woman's Refuge. The charity provides temporary safe accommodation for up to 14 families or single women who are escaping from abusive domestic relationships. It also offers programmes of aftercare and support to women and their children who find themselves in this situation. Dido said the money would go towards improving the standard of accommodation offered at the refuge.

Supporting critical care at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

In April 2025 our Charity Steward, W.Bro. Tony Bevan, presented a cheque for £1,000 to the Cancer Care and Haematology unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. On the right of the photo is Tony's daughter in law, who is receiving treatment at the unit. The sister in charge couldn’t have been more grateful and passed on a thank you to the Lodge from the whole unit.
