Social events
The Lodge organises social events throughout the year for members, their families and their guests. These include regular lunches on Valentine's day and at Christmas. Ladies' nights are a feature most years and are often arranged as part of a weekend away by the seaside. In recent years we have also laid on barbeques, a curry lunch, and a day out at the Cotswolds (including a tour of a distillery).
Below are pages from the table menu of our first Ladies Evening, held at the Bull's Head Hotel on 4th December 1935. Our W Bro Gargini was proprietor of the hotel at that time and laid on a lavish affair: an eight-course meal with four entertainment acts plus a dance band!

 In 2016 we called-off one of our regular meetings and invited our ladies and non-Masonic guests to join us in the Temple to see how a Lodge looks in session and to learn something of the Craft. Here are parts of the invitation:
